James Truran

James Truran is the Chief Operating Officer of Amur and is responsible for operations, human capital, data analytics, and process improvement. James previously spent a decade serving in operations and strategy roles within both the United Kingdom and the United States governments. He most recently served at the Pentagon within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. During his time working for the U.K. government, he was involved in the U.K. Defense Acquisition Reform Initiative, with responsibilities including modeling the enterprise performance of acquisitions. James has worked globally in military headquarters, including the U.K.'s Permanent Joint Headquarters, U.S. Central Command, and deployed locations.
